FAQs

Got questions? We've got answers.

  •  What is creative reuse?
Creative reuse centers collect donated items that can be used for art and craft, then resell them at deeply discounted prices. We also encourage upcycling and reusing items in different ways to keep them out of the landfill and give them new life.

  •  Where are you located?
Our space can be found in the showroom of Urban Thrift in downtown Steubenville! Re-Craft items are available for cash-only donations. Urban Thrift is open Tuesday through Friday 9am-6pm. We're excited to partner with this awesome ministry of the Urban Mission!
This is also where we host our monthly Craft Class on the first Saturday of the month, 11am-1pm.
At First Fridays on Fourth, you can find our booth, where we facilitate community art projects like our Community Loom.
Otherwise, check our events page to see whether we'll be popping up at a community event soon!

  •  How do I donate materials?
At the moment, donations are by appointment only. You can email us at hello@recraft.us or give us a call or text at 740-232-9954 to set up a donation drop off. We can also arrange donation pickups on a limited basis.

  •  What kind of things do you accept?
We accept new and used art and craft supplies, as well as some non-traditional crafting materials. Check out our donation guide!

  •  Are you a nonprofit?
Not yet! We're working toward our nonprofit status, but we still have a ways to go. At the moment, that means donations aren't tax deductible. We're thankful to the financial and material donors who have trusted us with their donations as we start our organization.
